This is a blog set up and run by Abdul-Malik Merchant and Abu Fouzaan Qaasim, two American students studying in Umm al-Qura University located in Makkah,KSA and The Islaamic University of Medinah located in Al-Medinah,KSA hence the blog title Makkah2Medinah. Here you will find articles translated into the english language from various scholars from Ahlus-Sunnah, past and present. As well as other beneficial works, audio recordings, e-books, etc.

May Allaah allow you to benefit from that which you find on this website.

  1. For all of those interested in Umm al-Qura University and/or applying please visit the university’s website here: http://uqu.edu.sa/arabic-language-intitute-en

    The application is located at the bottom of the aforementioned page. All of the prerequisites as well as the address of where to send it are listed on the application. Muwafiqeen!!!

And likewise for the Islaamic University of Medinah, if you want to apply or get information about the school, etc., visit the site at http://iu.edu.sa/web/Default.aspx and click the English tab on the upper right hand corner. There you will find the application to apply and the requirements that you need.
