Beware of the charms of this world …

In the name of Allah, all praise is due to He, The One. I send peace and blessings upon his final messenger (Al-Mustafa), and upon his family, companions, and those that followed him in righteousness until The Day of Resurrection (Youm Al-Qiyaamah). To proceed:

Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri (radiAllahu ‘anhu–may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, “The life of the world is sweet and green. Allah makes you generations succeeding one another so that He may try you in respect of your actions. So beware of the charms of the world and those of women. The first trial of Banu Israel [The Children of Israel] was through women”. [Muslim]

The author [of this book — Riyad Al-Saliheen] mentions this Hadeeth for what is in it of the command of The Prophet to fear Allah after he mentioned the condition of the Dunya (worldly life). He ﷺ said, “The life of the world is sweet and green”, sweet in taste and green in its scenery. If something is green and sweet then the eye desires it first, then the soul secondly; furthermore, the thing that both the eye and the soul desire, then the person will have resolve for it.

The Dunya is sweet in its tastes and green in scenery; so, people are deceived by it and glutinous in it, making it their greatest importance. But, The Prophet ﷺ clarified that Allah (The High) made us in succeeding generations so that he may try you in respect of you actions. He ﷺ said, “Allah makes you generations succeeding one another so that He may try you in respect of your actions.” Are you obeying him, fording yourself from desires, upholding the things that Allah has made obligatory upon you, not deceived by this Dunya, or are things the contrary?

With this, he ﷺ said, “So beware of the charms of the world”, i.e., uphold what I have commanded you with, leave off what I have forbidden you from, and do not be deceived by the sweetness Dunya and its beauty. As Allah (The High) said,

“Let not then this (worldly) present life deceive you, nor let the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allah.” — Surah Luqman (31) : 33

Then, he ﷺ said, ” So beware of the charms of the world and those of women.” Fear Allah in regards to the women, i.e., be cautious of them. And this comprises caution of the woman in their plots with their husbands as wells as their trials. With this he ﷺ said, “The first trial of Banu Israel was through women.”

They were tried with the women, then were misguided and guided others, and I seek refuge in Allah. For this reason, you find our enemies and the enemies of our religion (enemies of the Shari’ah [law] of Allah (Mighty and Majestic)) focusing today on the issue of the women, displaying them, mixing them with men, and evolving them with men in work. Until the point where people are like donkeys, not focusing on anything except their stomachs and private parts, and I seek refuge in Allah. Until the women are like dolls. People are not interested except in the woman’s appearance, how to embellish them, beautify them, and how to bring her things that make her beautiful and attractive [make-up] with regards to her hair and skin. Plucking hair of the head, legs, arms, face, and everything. Until they make the biggest interest of the woman to be like a picture made of plastic; not having any care in worship nor children.

In addition, our enemies, enemies of Allah’s religion and Shari’ah, and enemies of shyness want to involve the woman in male jobs; until the point where the suffocate the men, causing the youth to complain in the markets because they don’t have jobs, and from this freeness derives great evils and tremendous trials. Because, the youth, freeness, and music are from the greatest of destruction.

No doubt, our enemies and the scar of our enemies, because amongst us are a scar of those enemies, studied with them and mixed with their evil thoughts. I’m not saying that they were brainwashed; rather, Im saying that they had their brains polluted with these despicable repulsive thoughts that appose our religion of Islam. They might say, “This doesn’t oppose our Aqeedah (creed).” But we say is: it destroys our Aqeedah. Its not in opposition of the Aqeedah for someone to say that Allah has a partner, that Allah doesn’t exist, and what is like that; rather, this is transgression that severely destroyed the Aqeedah. Because, someone that continues like this will be like an ox or donkey; not caring about Aqeedah nor worship because it is in relation to the Dunya, its adornment, and with the women. Verily, it came in the authentic Hadeeth, “I have not left a trial more harmful on the man than the woman.” [Muslim]

This is obligatory upon us (and we, Al-Humdulillah [all praise is due to Allah], are from the Muslim nation) to appose these thoughts and stand in opposition to them everywhere, in ever [appropriate] occasion. While knowing that we have some people, may Allah not increase them nor achieve there goals, that want this thing; they want disorder and evil for this peaceful, preserved Muslim land [Saudi Arabia]. This is because they know that the last stronghold for the Muslims is this land that comprises the holy places and Qiblah (prayer direction–the Ka’bah) of the Muslims, and they want to corrupt it until they corrupt all of the Muslim Nation. All of the Muslim Nation is looking to this land to see what they do; so, if they destroy the shyness and religion then they will have no peace, because peace comes from the religion and shyness.

With this I say: Oh my brothers, it is obligatory upon us youth, men, elderly, scholars, and learned people to appose these thoughts and uprise everyone against them so that it wont reach us quickly as a fire in stalks and we get burned. We ask Allah to make the plan of those who plan the likes of these affairs in their chests, to not allow them [the plans] to past their throats, and inhibit them by means of righteous men to block their tribulations. For He is powerful and mighty.

And all prays due to Allah (Lord of the worlds), and the peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his companion
